On Easter Sunday 20th April our church invited people to a breakfast before the Easter Morning Service to show the work of the Mercy Ships organisation. After breakfast, children made an Easter Banner to hang on the wall and decorated eggs before exploring the pews of the original church building hunting for Easter eggs and sweeties.

It seems interesting that we refer to the day Christ died as Good Friday. Considering the events of the day, tragic or awful seems more appropriate. However, we ultimately know what God was up to that day.
