Evening service at 6pm

It would be amazing if all Christians held exactly the same beliefs and followed the same practices, but that’s not the way it is – and never has been! From the beginning of Christianity, believers have had different views on how the church should work, the way of salvation and the meaning of baptism.

There are many different ‘denominations’, that is, groups of people and churches that hold to a specific set of beliefs and practices. As a Baptist church, we are part of the Baptist denomination and we have a certain way of managing church life that is based on the principles set out by the Baptist Union of Great Britain.

We will be doing a series of videos to help explain what it means to be part of a Baptist church, including topics such as church membership, believer’s baptism and the Lord’s Supper (Communion). These will be uploaded here once they are available
