This is a growing library of helpful resources for studying the Bible. Do let us know if there are others that you think we should include. We will shortly be adding some resources that we have created and used with our church.

Bible Gateway

Bible Gateway is an excellent free online Bible available in multiple languages. There is also an app so that you can have the Bible always available on your phone or tablet.

There are reading plans, audio Bibles, commentaries and lots of Scripture engagement resources to help you get the most out of reading and studying the Bible.

CRU Bible studies

Cru has 25 themed sets of Bible studies, all available for free download. Some focus on working through a particular Bible book like Philippians, others looks at biblical themes such as Walking in the Holy Spirit, and others explore other worldviews from a Christian perspective.

Bible Project

The Bible Project is a fantastic way to explore the Bible. They have over 150 videos covering every book of the Bible, plus special series, themes and word studies. There are also Bible studies, podcasts and downloadable resources to go with the videos. All completely free!

The Bible Unpacked

The Bible Unpacked is a free set of Bible study resources to explore Scripture by theme. There are 7 editions of the resource designed for different levels of understanding and they can all be worked through online or downloaded as PDFs or eBooks.

Free Bible Images

Free Bible Images has thousands of photos, illustrations and maps to help you understand and explore the culture and context of the Bible stories.

ThE Bible Journey

Travel in the footsteps of Jesus, Paul, the disciples, Abraham, Moses, Ruth and many others and discover the lands and culture of the Bible with The Bible Journey. Photos, maps, timelines and Scripture references help to bring the Bible to life.
