Reflect: Have there been times when Jesus’ truth has seemed harsh to you or hard to follow. Did you grumble and back away? Did you question him?

Pray: Pray that God would help you trust him and his ways, even when they’re hard and you don’t understand the reason. Talk to God and tell him your struggles. Ask God to help you trust him.
